An excellent thing to do is to borrow your boyfriend's extra-thick, thermal, incredibly warm, wonderful t-shirt, and then split up with him before he has a chance to get it back! It is also a good idea to steal lovely baggy warm jumpers and big mens socks. And then laugh evilly to yourself every time you think of the arsehole freezing to death on his oilrig.
And then you realise that he actually still has your beloved John Lennon style sunglasses, and is probably laughing as much as you. Aaargh..!

I have returned from Birmingham! And I have all my belongings back with me now! Yay! More than one change of clothes at last!
It was quite a nightmare bringing all my stuff back, cos one of the boxes I'd packed my things in split twice, causing my cds and books and writing to go flying all over the streets of Birmingham. Damn you boxes from IKEA! Damn you rainy Birmingham streets!
But everything is back now, and strewn across my bedroom floor, waiting to be turned into some semblance of tidiness.
Never gonna happen....!

This afternoon, I am braving the evil rail network & am going down to Birmingham to get my belongings! Yay! Finally I'll be able to stop wearing the same two outfits I've been wearing for the past fortnight because I didn't think to bring any clothes with me up here! Yay! Finally I'll get my tv & video & cd player & bouncing Tigger back! Yay!
I am staying overnight to pester Joe & Phil one final time, and then my dad is picking me up tomorrow & bringing me and my things back here! Yay! (aside from, you know, the whole two hour car journey with dad thing, which will not be pleasant, but which I will survive by lots of magazines & music!)
I am trying not to concentrate too much on how much of a failure this whole thing makes me feel. Because, really, when I think about it, I do feel like a great big useless failure. Ho hum...

So, I thought that if I (knickers) write the word knickers lots of times (knickers) then lots of people will come visit my site!! (knickers.)
